DESCRIPTION:This concert features the Singing Girls of Texas. Founded in 2001 as a sister organization to the Grammy award-winning Texas Boys Choir\, Singing Girls of Texas (SGT) is a professional-level young women’s choral program with three core ensembles and two community choirs. Girls in SGT Training\, SGT Young Women’s Ensemble (YWE)\, and Tour Choir attend school and rehearse at our public charter school\, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (FWAFA). \nSGT and respective members have received superior accolades from University Interscholastic League (UIL) Concert and Sight-Reading Contest and District and State Solo and Ensemble Contest\, have performed at National and Regional American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) conferences\, have received superior ratings at National Associate for Teachers of Singing (NATS) contests\, have toured to New York\, New Mexico\, Arizona\, Oklahoma\, Utah\, and Minnesota\, and are traveling to compete in the World Choir Games in Gangneung\, South Korea in July 2022.

DESCRIPTION:This summer is all about sparkle at Dania Pointe\, where a new kind of family fun kicks off June 18 with the launch of “Bubble Bash” on the Lawn. \nThis fairy tale-like experience will set Dania Pointe’s Lawn aglow with a dazzling showcase of bubbles. The 10-minute display will be held at the top of every hour from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through September 5. Additional Bubble Bash events are scheduled for July 4 in honor of Independence Day and September 5 in recognition of Labor Day.
