DESCRIPTION:In honor of Fish Amnesty Day\, PETA is offering people a chance to trade in their fishing gear for a trash fishing kit. Trash Fishing is a fun\, cruelty-free activity in which people “fish” for trash instead of fish. \nOur trade-in reminds everyone that fish and other sea life are not inanimate objects – they’re living\, feeling individuals. PETA is asking everyone with fishing gear to participate in our trade-in and to start trash fishing instead\, which actually helps animals and our environment\, rather than causing harm to them.
