DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 16\, 2025\, nearly a thousand Miamians will gather at Regatta Park for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk. A powerful community event raising awareness\, funding research\, and supporting those affected by suicide. \nSuicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States\, yet it’s often left unspoken. For many\, this walk is a chance to honor loved ones\, connect with survivors\, and send a visible message of hope. Participants wear honor beads in different colors representing their personal connection to the cause\, creating unity and remembrance. \nThe Miami Walk is part of a nationwide movement that brings together participants across all 50 states.
