DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the sea birds soaring overhead as you paddle your way around Pelican Island and out into Biscayne Bay while enjoying a beautiful view of the Miami skyline. Kayak along Crandon Park’s mangrove forest as your naturalist tells you all about this unique ecosystem and its many inhabitants. \nAdvance registration is required. Due to the nature of the program\, walk-up registrations are not accepted. As a reminder\, children 14 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

DESCRIPTION:Nature Tots is our fun-filled and educational play program dedicated to helping 18-month – 4-year-olds get in touch with wildlife and the great outdoors. \nEach Nature Tots session is exciting and interactive. Combining both independent learning and team-working\, our sessions are designed to boost each child’s communication and problem-solving skills\, physical development\, and creativity through good old-fashioned fun! \nFrom environmental arts and crafts and storytime to scavenger hunts\, woodland games and much more\, Nature Tots activities take place both inside and out\, so you and your little ones will have a wonderful time come rain or shine. \nThe program is offered as a series; meeting once a month from October 2021 – May 2022. Nature Tots is offered at three of our nature centers\, you pick your closest site to enroll: \n*Arch Creek Park and Nature Center 1855 NE 135th Street\n*AD Barnes Park and Nature Center located at 3401 SW 72nd Ave\n*Castellow Hammock Preserve and Nature Center located at 22301 SW 162nd Ave \nNature Tots is $110 per child (18 months – 4 years old) + one parent/guardian for the series.
