New restaurant alert - Log opens in Wynwood - it’s FIRE.
🔥 I have to admit, the name threw me off. I wasn’t expecting the sophistication of the flavors that the wood-fired cuisine delivered.
The menu is small but interesting, and everything is made in-house.
Smoky Old Fashioned - Barrel smoked Bourbon, vanila syrup, peychauds, orange and angostura bitter.
Black Bird - Dobel Diamante Cristalino Tequila, tamarindo fruit, Ancho Reyes, fresh squeezed lime
🥖 Sourdough bread and cultured butter
🐟 Kampachi Tiradito - Pineapple gel, fresno pepper, crispy potatoes, mint oil, pickles pineapple
🦪 Wood Fire Oysters - Thermidor sauce and grana padano
🥬 Charred Cabbage - Romesco, mint salsa verde
🍑 Peco Pavlova - Pecorino cheese pavlova, vanila ice cream, mascarpone cream, conserved peach
🔥 🔥Do not miss the oysters and the pavlova, but we loved every single dish. I practically licked the sauce off the bowl of charred cabbage.
I’m a huge pavlova snob, and this one was spectacular!
