Dear Hive, Is that a breeze we feel? Or did the temperature just dip from 95 to 85? Either way, Miami’s entering that glorious in-between season when the A/C is still working overtime, but the outdoors is giving it a run for its money. We’re remembering we live in paradise, with neighborhoods to explore, friends to see and plenty of buzz to catch. Check our community calendar and upcoming events for inspiration. And speaking of events, we’re kicking off the busy events season with Wild About Miami on October 22! Get out there, Miami. Paradise is calling. ~Samantha and Team 305 Hive® 🐝
WE’RE TURNING SEVEN!On October 1, 305 Hive celebrates seven years of buzzing about Miami, and we want to celebrate with the people who made it possible: you. Found your housekeeper or nanny? Buzzed your business? Have a funny story? Or maybe the Hive has simply become part of your Thursday morning routine. Tell us your Hive story →We’ll share some of our favorites in our 7th Anniversary celebration.
LULY B. MAKES CONNECTION HER BUSINESSLuly B. Carreras has never been interested in choosing between a successful career and a meaningful life. In fact, she wrote the book on it. Literally. The Miami-based business strategist, speaker and author of Balance is Bull$h!t has spent more than 20 years helping women rethink success, own their gifts and build lives that actually feel good to live. The daughter of Cuban immigrants, Luly began her career in marketing and public relations before launching her own business and eventually turning her attention to something she does exceptionally well: bringing women together. Through coaching, speaking, workshops and BOOST, the women’s community she founded in 2015, Luly has created spaces where connection goes well beyond exchanging business cards. Her philosophy is refreshingly simple: work and life were never meant to be perfectly balanced. They’re meant to belong to you. And Luly is very good at reminding women of exactly that. CHARGE & GOOne less cord to pack? Yes, please. This clever 3-in-1 charging station keeps your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods powered up in one tidy spot—but our favorite feature is the detachable magnetic charger that doubles as a portable power bank. Charge everything overnight, then pop the battery off the stand and toss it in your bag for extra power on the go. Perfect for travel, busy days around Miami, or anyone whose phone always seems to hit 10% at precisely the wrong time. We’ve added it to our Amazon storefront as a Hive-approved pick, affiliate link and all.
