I don’t know about you, but I am in the mood for a good page turner! It’s been some time since we have read a suspense thriller together so for next month’s pick, I have selected All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham. This gripping story begins with every parent’s worst nightmare, a toddler taken from his crib in the middle of the night. It goes on to tell the story of the boy’s mother and her quest to find her son as she comes to terms with her own past. What I am most excited about is that All the Dangerous Things is more than just a crime story about a toddler’s disappearance; it also explores the idea of motherhood and the expectations of women – which means that this book is perfect for our lively Book Club!
