Join aioli Sour Dough Bakery & Café for Mahjong After Hours: Mahjong 101, an intimate, hands-on introduction to the classic game on Tuesday, March 31 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand-awarded West Palm Beach café.
Led by Kari Long of Mahj on the Beach, this beginner-friendly class will guide guests through the fundamentals of American Mahjong, from setup and rules to basic strategy, all in a relaxed, social setting. The evening begins with mingling over welcome drinks, charcuterie and aioli’s signature butter bar with fresh sourdough before settling in for instruction and guided play.
Hosted inside aioli after hours, the experience brings a new layer to the neighborhood bakery known for its community-driven approach and craftsmanship. Guests will learn the game step by step, then break into small groups to practice, with Kari offering tips along the way. Each attendee will leave with a Mahjong manual to continue learning at home.
