This live symphonic band concert, lead by Music Director, Robert Longfield, features the return of Guest Conductor Col. Arnald D. Gabriel, USAF Retires, showcasing “La Forza del Destino” (his signature piece inspired by his biography, “The Force of Destiny”) and Guest Saxophone Soloist Dale Underwood, Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Miami, performing the WORLD PREMIERE of “Un Viaggio Italiano” written by UM Assistant Professor of Studio Music and Jazz, Stephen James Guerra, Jr. The program also includes “The Pines of Rome” (Mvt.IV, The Pines of the Appian Way), “La Sorella”, “Transcendent Journey”, theme from “The Godfather,” among other pieces that will transport you to Italy
