Families can honor Dr. King’s legacy through hands-on projects that highlight peace, unity, and dreams for a brighter future. In the Art Studio, children can design vibrant peace plates in the Plates of Peace activity, using tape and paint as a tribute to Dr. King’s message of justice and harmony. Over in Kidscape Village, the I Have a Dream Clouds activity invites kids to craft a cloud sharing their dreams for the world, inspired by Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech, and contribute to a collaborative sky display. In the Health & Wellness Classroom, children can participate in Expressive Posters, creating posters that reflect their passions and values, which can be used in a special parade later in the session.
