Villagers Turn Back the Clock to the 1960s with a Magical History Tour in celebration of their 60th anniversary. On Saturday, April 18, history buffs and hip guests have the option to attend the tour or party, or combine the two and do the whole shebang.
All festivities will begin and end at the 100-year-old Coral Gables Congregational Church, 3010 De Soto Blvd in Coral Gables. Bus tour check begins at 3:30 PM, for the 2.5-hour trip showcasing Villagers’ historic preservation success stories. The Villager member-led tour will travel between 30+ sites, with at least one stop along the way. From 6:30-8:30, party-goers will groove to live ‘60s tunes and nibble elevated retro treats. Guests can score some special surprises and far-out finds at the silent and live auctions.
Proceeds support local historic preservation.
