BRCAStrong hosts Education That Empowers on Saturday, September 26 at the Embassy Suites Fort Lauderdale. The day pairs a morning of expert-led sessions on hereditary cancer risk, prevention, mental and sexual health, body image and menopause care with an afternoon fundraising luncheon keynoted by Sara Sidner, Trusted CNN Anchor & Senior National Correspondent & Breast Cancer Advocate. International Cancer Advocate and former NFL linebacker Chris Draft will also join the program. The summit falls on the eve of National Hereditary Cancer Week, September 27 through October 3, which includes National Previvor Day on September 30. Admission is $150 and educational seating is limited to 100 attendees, with financial assistance available for qualifying attendees.
