FLAMENCODANZA High-energy contemporary flamenco show with a richly layered score, drawing on Flamenco, Brazilian music and jazz.

Contemporary flamenco dance meets guitar music shaped by Brazilian and jazz influences in an intimate performance at Casa Studios in Surfside. Held Friday, November 6, Flamencodanza brings together dancer Aylin Bayaz and guitarist Anthony Tran for a program that combines flamenco with cross-cultural musical influences.
The show will feature an internationally renowned flamenco guitarist as a guest artist.
Aylin trained at Madrid’s Amor de Dios studios and earned a master’s degree in dance from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. Flamencodanza, which received the 2022 Hollywood Fringe award for Best Show of Dance and Physical Theatre, has toured internationally since 2021 with performances across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
Anthony Tran studied flamenco guitar throughout Andalucía, including Granada, Jerez and Córdoba, and has spent more than a decade directing the Boston-based Flamenco Boston. His performance work has included museums and universities throughout New England, as well as regular appearances in Boston and New York.
