  • Farmer’s Markets: not what you typically think about for a family morning out, but they can be a fun activity. Some of them also have activities for kids. Vizcaya Village Farmers Market doesn’t have activities, but there is a smoothy stand where you can blend your own smoothy on the blend bike. There are usually lots of dogs to pet, and you can pick out fresh produce to make something together with at home, or buy ready-made items like fresh pastries or pizza. 
  • Fishing.
  • Go Kart racing. 
  • Ice Cream Tasting: Embark on an ice cream tasting adventure, discovering the best ice cream parlors in Miami and trying out unique flavors.
  • Ice skating. 
  • Museums or local attractions.
  • One-on-one dates are a great way to bond with your child, such as Daddy-Daughter fancy dinner out, Mother-Son Marlins game, etc.  
  • Parks: try out different local parks; your favorite might be in another neighborhood.

  • Wynwood is great for kids and teens: have lunch at 1–800-Lucky’s food hall, followed by ice cream at Taiyaki. They also have a great record store inside. Then selfies at Wynwood Walls.
  • Zoo or Animal Sanctuaries: Visit the local zoo or animal sanctuaries to get up close with wildlife and learn about different species from around the world.

Whatever you decide to do together, make it fun! You don’t have to go all out; sometimes, the simplest things are the most fun.
