- Farmer’s Markets: not what you typically think about for a family morning out, but they can be a fun activity. Some of them also have activities for kids. Vizcaya Village Farmers Market doesn’t have activities, but there is a smoothy stand where you can blend your own smoothy on the blend bike. There are usually lots of dogs to pet, and you can pick out fresh produce to make something together with at home, or buy ready-made items like fresh pastries or pizza.

- One-on-one dates are a great way to bond with your child, such as Daddy-Daughter fancy dinner out, Mother-Son Marlins game, etc.

- Selfies Tour: these days, it’s all about the Gram. Teens want opportunities to get great and unique photos, so make a day of it.

- Strawberry picking
- There are several cute places for afternoon tea in Miami.
- Visit the local skate park.
- Volunteer as a family at a beach clean-up or walk for charity
- Wynwood is great for kids and teens: have lunch at 1–800-Lucky’s food hall, followed by ice cream at Taiyaki. They also have a great record store inside. Then selfies at Wynwood Walls
