🦯White Cane Day Walk🦯
Miami Lighthouse for the Blind celebrated National White Cane Day with a powerful walk through SW 8th Street, raising awareness about White Cane Safety Laws.
Over 150 blind and visually impaired participants, escorted by the City of Miami Fire and Police Departments, along with Grand Marshal Commissioner Miguel Angel Gabela, joined the walk in a show of unity and support. The event was a celebration of 95 years of Miami Lighthouse’s service to the blind and visually impaired community.
🌟Following the walk, attendees enjoyed lunch and live performances from the Miami Lighthouse Music Program. Raffles, giveaways, and great prizes added to the festivities.
