305 Wines 🍷 treated us to a wonderful selection, thoughtfully paired for our book discussion, along with a delicious spread from Joanna’s Marketplace 🥖🧀. Our lively discussion on Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty touched on themes of love, fate, and loss in an unpredictable world 💔💫.
To wrap up the evening, we held our usual raffle prize to reveal our next book (check Thursday’s Newsletter for the ticket link) 🎉📚 and shared some exciting news: we’re adding a December Book Club experience at The Ivy Rooftop 🌆.
We also reminded everyone that Small Business Saturday is around the corner 🛍️, and we announced our 305 Hive Media $100 giveaway!

Organized by Changemakers Giuliana Reynolds, Class of 2028, Amparo Torres Platt, Class of 2026, and friends, this inspiring afternoon offered guests an unforgettable experience that fused culture, cuisine, and community.
Guests were treated to a globally-inspired brunch meticulously crafted by THesis Hotel’s Executive Chef Nicolas Mazier. With his expertise in authentic international cuisine, Chef Mazier delighted attendees with a decadent culinary journey that spanned flavors from around the world.
The event was elevated by the student-led touches that made it truly special. Breakthrough Scholars and Volunteers took center stage—not only did they prepare and serve the brunch, but they also performed musical pieces, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Their powerful speeches further inspired the audience, highlighting the transformative impact the Breakthrough programs.
